What are the General Home Inspection Checklist Items?

Here I give you all the general inspection checklists items in different parts of the home process…

* Structural Elements.

It includes Construction of walls, floors, ceilings, roof and foundation.

* Exterior Evaluation.

It includes Wall covering, drainage, grading, elevation, landscaping, driveways, fences, sidewalks, doors, windows, fascia, trim, lights and exterior receptacles.

* Roof and Attic.

It includes Framing, type of roof construction, ventilation, flashing and gutters. It does not include an assurance of roof condition or a roof certification.

* Plumbing.

It includes Identification of pipe materials used for potable, waste, drain, and vent pipes. That including condition. Toilets, showers, sink faucets and traps. It does not include a sewer inspection.

* Systems and Components.

It includes Water heaters, air conditioning, furnaces, duct work, fireplace, chimney, and sprinklers.

* Electrical.

It includes Main panel, grounding, circuit breakers, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, types of wiring, receptacles and light fixtures.

* Appliances.

It includes Dishwasher, built-in microwaves, range and oven, garbage disposal and, yes, even smoke detectors.

* Garage.

It includes Slab, walls, entry, openers, firewall, ceiling, vents, garage door, exterior, lights, receptacles, windows and roof.
