What kinds of work do a home inspector does for you?

A home inspector is a paid professional (time and again a contractor or an engineer) who checks the security and all safety of a home. Home inspectors search for defects or other problems that possibly will become your worst nightmare soon after. They focus mainly on the home's structure, construction, and all mechanical systems. It is not the inspector's job to find out whether you are getting good worth for your money. He does not establish value, only whether the home may collapse in a storm or if the roof might cave in. A home inspection normally takes place after a purchase contract involving the buyer and seller has been signed.
